Configuration

Learn the main customization concepts without relying on guessed file paths or settings.

Keybindings

Lulu supports configurable keybindings. Existing development configuration uses modifier names such as SUPER, ALT, and SHIFT. The installed configuration should be treated as the source of truth.

Layout

The established layout configuration includes a tiling mode, configurable gaps, and a default column width expressed as a proportion.

Decorations

Lulu’s decoration settings include border width, corner radius, and active/inactive colors. These work alongside Lulu’s rounded-window renderer.

Wallpaper and dock

Lulu’s wallpaper and dock are separate Wayland clients. Their launch behavior and runtime paths depend on the packaged environment.

The precise configuration filename, installation path, and complete syntax have not been verified from the latest release files. We will add copy-paste-ready examples once the current configuration is supplied.
